We engineer every part, not just the case.
How long a light lasts and how good it looks depends on what is inside. These are the five parts we design and source for each product.
- LED boardLED chips matched for colour, on a metal-core board that pulls heat away from them.
- DriverThe electronics that power the LEDs. Flicker-free output, high power factor and surge protection.
- OpticsLenses, reflectors and diffusers that put the light where it is needed and keep glare down.
- Heat and housingAluminium heat sinks and sealed housings that keep the LEDs cool and the dust and water out.
- ControlsDimming and smart control: triac, 0–10 V, DALI, Zigbee, Bluetooth Mesh and Matter.
Every light ships with numbers you can check.
These are the figures buyers, specifiers and regulators look at. We measure them on samples and on production units, so the box matches the product.
| What we measure | Unit | What it tells your buyer |
|---|---|---|
| Light output | lm | How much light it gives |
| Efficacy | lm/W | How much light per watt of electricity |
| Colour temperature | K | Warm (2700 K) to cool daylight (6500 K) |
| Colour rendering | CRI Ra | How true colours look under the light |
| Flicker | Pst LM · SVM | Whether the light flickers on camera or to the eye |
| Lifetime | L70 h | Hours until output falls to 70% of new |
| Ingress protection | IP | How well it keeps out dust and water |
| Surge protection | kV | How well it survives spikes on the mains |

Selling somewhere else? Tell us the country and we will tell you what the product needs.
We and you, one movement.
Your small turn drives our full one. This is the same loop as on our home page, applied to a lighting product.
- 01 / 10Your turn
Your need
You tell us the light: what it does, who buys it, where it sells, at what price and volume.
- 02 / 10Our turn
Deconstruct
We take apart your brief into clear requirements, and the lights already on the shelf into LED board, driver, optic, housing and cost.
- 03 / 10Our turn
Learn
What we find becomes lighting knowledge we keep and reuse, such as heat limits and driver choices.
- 04 / 10Our turn
Reconstruct
We design candidate lights from your requirements.
- 05 / 10Our turn
Simulate
We check heat, light output and glare in software first, with cost and lead time as honest ranges.
- 06 / 10Our turn
Materials
LEDs, driver parts, optics and housing materials, chosen for your light.
- 07 / 10Our turn
Industrialise
We build the moulds, fixtures, assembly line and test stations to make it reliably at volume.
- 08 / 10Our turn
Manufacture
We manufacture it.
- 09 / 10Our turn
Test
Measured against the data sheet and certified for the markets you sell in.
